Musical Nights in Oak Knoll Park

Enjoy a free concert in beautiful Oak Knoll Park in Clayton. These family friendly concerts are held on the fourth Sunday of the month from June to September. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Bring your own food and beverages or enjoy food truck fare.

Picnic in the Park

Picnic in the Park features fun activities for all ages, including live music, food trucks, a bounce house, crafts for kids, and lots more.

Picnic in the Park is presented by Clayton Parks and Recreation and the Clayton Century Foundation. Live music will be provided by the Midnight Piano Band, and in addition to the fun activities, refreshments will be available for purchase from a local charity, and food available for purchase from some of your favorite food trucks.

Children's Concert Series at the Piper Palm House

Treat your kids to a free concert in beautiful Tower Grove Park. The Piper Palm House Children's Concert Series, taking place on Wednesdays throughout the summer, introduces kids to different musical styles.

The interactive concerts are educational, feature a different theme each week, and are a lot of fun. Concerts are held on Wednesdays June 7 - August 9.

Concerts begin at 9:30 a.m. at Piper Palm House in Tower Grove Park. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Citygarden Summer Concert Series

Enjoy a free summer lunchtime concert at Citygarden, the urban oasis in downtown St. Louis filled with sculpture, reflecting pools, fountains, splashpads and art.

On hot summer days, plan to also enjoy Citygarden's water features too, including the Voyage pool, Lower Basin pool, Spray Plaza and fountains. Pools open at 10 a.m.

Concerts are held from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Grooving in the Garden at The Magic House

Enjoy a fun evening with your kids listening to live music from some of St. Louis' most whimsical bands at The Magic House. Grooving in the Garden takes place on select Fridays and is included with admission to The Magic House.

Kids can play and dance in the museum's front garden and everyone can enjoy samples from Andy's Frozen Custard (while supplies last).

St. Louis Earth Day Festival in Forest Park

Celebrate Earth Day at the annual St. Louis Earth Day Festival – now a two-day event – on the Muny Grounds in Forest Park.

Enjoy live music, performance art, local food and hands-on activities for the whole family, as well as artists, educational exhibitors, diverse cuisine featuring local, organic, vegetarian and vegan options and more. Please bring your own bag to collect vendor information.

This family and pet-friendly event features yoga all day for kids and adults, a pet adoption area, bus painting, a rock climbing wall, an all-species parade, car show of fuel efficient vehicles, a junior recycling ambassador workshop, a peace garden and more. The festival will be held rain or shine.

Free Youth Symphony Orchestra Concert

Enjoy a free concert performed by the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra, which consists of 100 talented young musicians ranging in age from 12 to 22 from across the St. Louis region. They will perform select works from Borodin, Rimsky-Korsakov and Dvorak.

Tickets are free, but reservations are required.
