The 13th annual Festival of Nations will take place Saturday, Aug. 25 and Sunday, Aug. 26 in Tower Grove Park. This free, outdoor event includes booths representing more than 50 ethnicities, and arts and performances representing more than 60 ethnicities. It's a fantastic way to experience the many different cultures that make up the St. Louis community.
Three stages will offer dynamic music and dance performances by traditional ethnic artists, world music favorites and traditional acoustic music and song. From Spanish flamenco to a Vietnamese lion dance, from thundering drums to Irish harp, there is something for every taste.
Food booth will feature a wide variety of ethnic foods. Kids will have a chance to participate in arts and crafts projects, try different types of dancing, and many more fun activities.
Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Tower Grove Park on the city's south side. More information: www.festivalofnationsstl.org
