Bringing them Back
Many of Missouri’s animals were nearly wiped out by 1900. Thanks to dedicated conservationists, many of the animals that were rare or gone at the turn of last century now have thriving populations. Learn about their restoration, ranging from the instant success with river otters to the decades-long struggle to restore wild turkeys. Reservations are required. Ages 10 and up. 9:30 to 11 a.m. Free. Powder Valley Conservation Area.
