Visit the Missouri History Museum to celebrate and reflect upon the achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a variety of interactive activities. The first 100 kids in attendance will receive an MLK storybook to take home.
Visitors can take part in a Youth Activism and Engagement Workshop facilitated by Tabari Coleman, enjoy a step performance by Gentlemen of Vision, participate in a King Family Kids Movement Workshops, where they'll join Mama Lisa to learn the local history of St. Louis' March on Washington through movement, song and story, and get creative with peace-inspired art projects.
The MLK Family Celebration takes place Saturday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
