Join the Saint Louis Zoo for a virtually fun week with Camp KangaZoom this summer! Your camper will enjoy hands-on animal activities, experiments, crafts and games that you expect from Zoo camp, along with skits, bingo and songs. Virtual animal experiences, Zoo tours, new friends and caring counselors will make this a week to remember. Camp KangaZoom is for children entering grades 2-5. Camp will be held on Zoom; sessions will be offered Mondays-Thursdays starting the week of June 14. Additional camp opportunities, including Camp Joey (children age 4-6) and specialty camps (children entering grades 2-5 and 6-8) are also available.
The Saint Louis Chess Club is offering free group chess instruction to kids and teens at various branches of the St. Louis County Library.
Bring your little ones to Toddler Tinker Time at The Magic House for special experiences designed especially for preschoolers. Weekday mornings, Tuesday through Friday, families will enjoy hands-on activities in the Art Studio, plus private playtime featuring limited capacity in Wonder Works and Wonder Why.
The Magic House now offers a virtual art experience for children – multi-sensory Virtual Petite Picasso classes. Classes are taught live from the Art Studio at The Magic House, and a different art activity is featured each week!
