Inspired art education with professional teaching artists: Summer camps at Colorbridge Art have a one-room schoolhouse feel for a small group of campers curious about a wide variety of disciplines in studio art and music. Six campers maximum work with professional teaching artists in a low-ratio, discovery-based and safe studio environment.
During Colorbridge half-day summer camps, children have time to explore the theme of the week: Painting, Drawing, Animation, Bookmaking & Pop-Up Books, Printmaking, Potter's Wheel & Hand-building with Clay, Ukulele Music Lessons . . . all through the guidance of an inspired Colorbridge teaching-artist, and a studio packed with art supplies and music.
Colorbridge's art studio is located in the South Hampton neighborhood, two miles south of historic Tower Grove Park. Clay classes take place in an open air outdoor studio, all other classes take place in our air-conditioned studio/gallery space. Colorbridge is nestled into a neighborhood setting with adjacent outdoor green space for taking breaks with a little bit of nature. For more information visit www.colorbridgeart.org.
