Make your child's summer out of this world at the Saint Louis Science Center's Summer Science Blast Summer Camp! Weekly day camps at the Science Center keep children engaged in hands-on learning, all while having lots of fun. Our camps offer a variety of subjects that will spark an interest in science, technology and problem solving. Camp program topics include paleontology, gaming and game design, astronomy, robotics, engineering, chemistry and more. Campers will learn more about the world and themselves, grow their sense of intellectual curiosity and share their sense of wonder, while seeing how their desire to learn can lead to the discoveries and advancements of tomorrow. Camps are offered in both half-day and full-day sessions. Extended care is available at an additional cost.
Camp Lakewood Open Houses are designed to give you and your children or teens the opportunity to meet the camp directors, ask questions and see the beautiful property. You'll get a tour of the camp, be able to speak with camp staff and be reassured that your camper will have the experience of a lifetime at YMCA Camp Lakewood.
