Need a break from virtual learning screen time? Schedule a family field trip to MADE for Kids! On Friday mornings, a limited number of families will be able to enjoy a special field trip where educators from The Magic House, MADE for Kids will lead them through fun, interactive STEAM learning experiences. Each family will have their own workspace to ensure social distancing, and families are welcome to stay and play after their field trip.
The Magic House is bringing innovative, hands-on learning to you at home with its #MagicAtHome series of interactive, instructional online presentations. The Magic At Home series of activities includes lots of fun projects that you can make at home with common materials. The easy-to-follow directions mean your kids can make paper sculpture, do shaving cream marble painting, create make-your-own flowers, go "fishin," make TP roll animals, make salad spin art and more.
Kids 12 and under who complete a fitness challenge upon arrival can earn free admission to The Magic House and enjoy lots of fitness-related fun. Registration is required.
Bargain hunters take note! Kids will be selling their handmade craft items, outgrown toys, books, baseball cards and games at the annual Kids' Flea Market at The Magic House.
This event allows families with children with autism to experience activities in a sensory-friendly environment. Interactive music activities will be provided by Different Dynamics.
In celebration of Father's Day, dads will be admitted free at The Magic House and its new satellite Makerspace (The Magic House @ Made) on Sunday, June 16.
