SciFest: Animal Kingdom Expo is an all-day event all about animals! Visitors will learn about animal science and care both at home and in the wild. Join the Challenger Learning Center in celebration of its 15-year anniversary! This celebration is a community event for all ages, and includes simulated space missions, drone demonstrations, hands-on activities for kids and a screening of the film Earthrise. Admission also includes lunch! Visitors will also see the winners and entries of the Center's logo design competition and rocket design competition.
Visit the James S. McDonnell Planetarium in Forest Park for star shows for all ages. Show are hourly on the half hour and include a 30-minute Planetarium show in the Orthwein StarBay and a self-guided tour of the Boeing Space Station after the show.
Kids will learn how roller coasters work as they loop their own tracks for some speedy marble fun. Roller Coaster Engineering is for kids ages 8-12 and is a free workshop held at the St. Louis County Library. Registration is required.
Kids will get their whole body moving as they discover all the important things that let you move. An accomplished ballet dancer will make a special appearance at this free workshop. Registration is not necessary.
