Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Visit the newest interactive reading experience for kids in the St. Louis area - Barks 'N Books Reading Day at Purina Farms! This free book reading features USO comfort dogs and gives your kids the opportunity to read to them.

The petcentric books highlight the special bond we share with our four-legged canine pals. At the end of the live, interactive reading, kids will have a chance to read to comfort dogs Maverick and Shadow, which helps them develop literacy skills and build confidence.

Barks N Books readings will be held at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. at the Visitor Center indoor theater at Purina Farms. Maverick and Shadow are visiting Purina Farms on behalf of USO of Missouri. Admission and parking are free. Reservations are not necessary.
