Visit the newest interactive reading experience for kids in the St. Louis area – Barks 'N Books Reading Day at Purina Farms! This free book reading features USO therapy dog Maverick and gives your kids the opportunity to read to them.
The petcentric books highlight the special bond shared between people and pets. At the end of the session, kids will have a chance to read to therapy dog Maverick, which helps them develop literacy skills and build confidence.
Barks N Books readings will be held at 11 a.m., and 2 p.m. at the Visitor Center indoor theater at Purina Farms. Maverick and Shadow are visiting Purina Farms on behalf of USO of Missouri. Admission and parking are free. Reservations are not necessary.
