Preschoolers will hear stories and make a craft at this free program at the Missouri History Museum. Storytelling program themes in February include Penguins, Valentine's Day, Dragon Tales and Families. Themes in March include Outer Space, Bug Detective, Great Women and Welcome Spring.
Storytelling at the Museum engages the youngest visitors and their families in historic objects and introduces them to a museum setting in a fun way using traditional and contemporary story books. Children will also enjoy hands-on crafts and other activities.
Each 45-minute session is free and recommended for children ages 2-5. Adults are welcome with children.

The Magic House offers special morning hours for families with young children Tuesday through Friday during the school year. Select exhibits open at 10:30 a.m. before the entire museum opens at noon. Preschool Hours feature exhibits that are geared toward children ages 2-8, but anyone is welcome to visit.
Kids and teens ages 6-15 can practice and explore a variety of obstacles, fine tune their skills on a single obstacle, or practice running the customizable courses at Ultimate Ninjas Open Play. Registration is recommended.
