The Magic House, MADE for Kids, a 7,000-square-foot maker space in the Central West End designed for kids ages 4-14 to play, explore, create, and collaborate, hosts a Visiting Art + Maker Series allowing kids to let their creativity run wild while they learn from established artists and makers.
The Visiting Artists series projects are open to all visitors and are free with admission. Themes vary each month.
On March 21 (9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and March 22 (11 a.m. to 5 p.m.), make swirls, stones, chevrons and other patterns when you join paper artist Megan Singleton to marbelize paper. Explore the traditional techniques used in printing and bookbinding for centuries.
