African culture comes alive in this dynamic performance by storyteller Bobby Norfolk and drummer Kenya Ajanaku. In celebration of Kenya's Kids exhibit at The Magic House, Bobby and Kenya combine dance, percussion and the lively oral tradition to showcase the arts of Africa.
Saturday, October 13 at noon and 2 p.m. and Sunday, October 14 at noon and 2 p.m. The Visiting Artist Series is a year-long celebration of the arts. One weekend every month, visitors to The Magic House have the opportunity to learn from a variety of professional artists as they demonstrate their techniques.

Bring your kids and your dog to the Purina Farms Trunk or Treat! In addition to plenty of treats for your two-legged and four-legged little ones, there will be face painting, games, balloon animals and a family entertainment area. Advance tickets are required.
It's the Not-So-Haunted House that is oh-so-fun! Kids of all ages are invited to dress in their most "boo-tiful" Halloween costumes and have a ghoulishly good time trick-or-treating at The Magic House and getting autographs from their favorite storybook characters.
Artscope offers a variety of creative opportunities on Sunday afternoons, mostly for kids in Kindergarten and up, but some are for adults too! Sunday Fundays are focused on culture, ecology and artistic skill-building, and there is a different activity each week.
