Visit the Missouri History Museum to celebrate and reflect upon the achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a variety of interactive activities. The first 100 kids in attendance will receive an MLK storybook to take home.
Visitors can take part in a Youth Activism and Engagement Workshop facilitated by Tabari Coleman, enjoy a step performance by Gentlemen of Vision, participate in a King Family Kids Movement Workshops, where they'll join Mama Lisa to learn the local history of St. Louis' March on Washington through movement, song and story, and get creative with peace-inspired art projects.
The MLK Family Celebration takes place Saturday, Jan. 13 and Monday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
All activities are free and are designed for kids age 14 and under. More details and a schedule of activities are available at: mohistory.org
