Chesterfield Montessori School was founded in 1981 and serves children from 16 months through 14 years old. CMS is a non-profit school offering authentic AMI Montessori programs at all levels. Montessori education stimulates a passion for learning, for exploration and for discovery. The beautiful sunlit facility features classrooms that are open, inviting, well-organized, and equipped with the full spectrum of materials scientifically developed by Dr. Maria Montessori. Our teachers are highly trained and enjoy working with our culturally diverse student body.
The campus includes playgrounds, tennis courts, a swimming pool and a children's garden. Recognized as one of the finest Montessori schools in the U.S., students carry with them a solid record of academic achievement, a belief in the dignity of work, and a sense of responsibility for their own development. The partnership of parents, children, and teachers makes our school a place where children and families flourish.
