Each week of summer camp will focus on a new era and use the arts and sciences to explore what life was like in the past! Travel back in time to learn about pre-historic dinosaurs and medieval knights, all the way through the Totally RAD 80's Camp and the Neon POP 90's Camp. Week-long camps featuring Arts and STEM experiences at DaySpring! STEAM camps are a perfect blend of summer fun and educationally-based creative training. Make music this summer! The Community Music School of Webster University offers a variety of summer music programs for all ages, including Kindermusik® Family Camp (6 months – 5 years); String Orchestra Camp (grades 2-12); Chamber Music Encounter (by audition); Flute Camp (grades 7-12); Band Camp (grades 7-12); Composition Intensive (grades 7-12); Pop Songwriting Camp (grades 9-12); and the NEW Saxophone Summer Intensive (grades 7-12). Kindermusik® Family Camp is offered in 2 locations – Webster Groves and Faust Park in Chesterfield. All other camps are at our main location at Webster University. Play, learn, and create on Community School's beautiful 18-acre campus this summer. Camps are available for children age 3 through eighth grade and include full- and half-day options. Choose from dozens of activities led by our experienced faculty and partners from STAGES, Mad Science of St. Louis, The Recreation Academy, and more. Join us for enriching experiences including Camp Whitfield, Whitfield Sports Camp, and a Summer Session with academic and leadership development for older kids. The Taste of Maplewood Street festival brings together foodies, shoppers and music lovers to enjoy the bites, sights and sounds of Maplewood. The festival includes live entertainment from two stages, children's activities, and local restaurants and retailers offering food, drinks, and specialties.
Young artists and their families are invited to complete a fun craft activity in the galleries at the St. Louis Artists Guild. This program is designed for Pre-K to elementary-age children and their families.
