Celebrating Children's China
Visit The Magic House at they celebrate the final days of the exhibit Children's China. This festival of fun includes special lion and dragon dances.
Lion dance performances are at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Dragon dance performances are at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Music of China
Visitors to The Magic House can enjoy performances from the St. Louis Modern Chinese School showcasing a variety of Chinese instruments.
There will be Waist Drum performances at 10 a.m. and noonm and singing performances at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

The number 8 is lucky in Chinese culture, so The Magic House is bringing great luck to all its visitors on 8/8 as they drop admission to $8 per person.

Summer Outdoor Movie Series at The Magic House
You and your little ones can enjoy fun family movies outdoors at The Magic 
House this summer. The new movie series will be held on select nights throughout the summer.

Free Sand for Pick Up at The Magic House
The Magic House is giving away the beach! The exhibit Sandcastle Beach is leaving 
for the summer and on June 28, famillies are invited to take some of the beach home with them. Anyone intererested in filling their sandboxes or backyard should bring shovels, bags, buckets and trucks to get digging. With about 200 tons of sand, there is plenty to go around.
Free Family Night Swim and Canned Food Drive
Everyone is invited to this free open swim at the outdoor pool at the Lodge of Des Peres. In addition to swimming, there will be games, a live DJ, Italian ice and other cool treats, snacks and fun giveaways.
Suggested donation per person is two cans of food items to be donated to a local food bank. For all ages. Open to the public.

Hot Summer Nights, Cool Summer Sounds Concert in Des Peres Park
Enjoy a free concert in Des Peres Park. Bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating, and arrive early to get your spot!
7-9:30 p.m. in Des Peres Park. Concessions will be sold by Boy Scout Troop 313. In the event of rain, cancellations will be announced by 4 p.m. on the day of the concert. Call the Des Peres weather hotline at 314-835-6138.
