Winter Break Camps at Artscope St. Louis

Winter Break camps at Artscope are a great way for kids to spend their days when school is not in session. Kids will make fabulous art projects, explore Tower Grove Park, play games, sing songs and make new friends. Camps are for kids ages 5-10. Each day has a different theme.

Winter Break Camps at the Center of Clayton

Winter Break Camps are the perfect way to entertain and enrich your child during their time away from school. Winter Break Camps at the Center of Clayton take place December 27 - 30, 2023, and include:

Winter Break Camp at the Chesterfield Community Center

Kids can spend three days over Winter Break at the Chesterfield Community Center and participate in a variety of games, crafts and activities that will keep the engaged and having fun! Camp is for children ages 5-12. Winter Break Camp will be held Wednesday, December 27 through Friday, December 29. Camp is open to residents and non-residents of Chesterfield.

Winter Adventure Camp at the Ferguson Community Center

Escape to a winter wonderland extravaganza during Winter Break Camp at the Ferguson Community Center. Campers will experience several themed days, crafts, games, entertainers like Chef Bananas, field trips, movies and more. Winter Break Camp will be held December 31, 2023, through January 3, 2024, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Winter Break Camp at the Webster Groves Rec Complex

Spend Winter Break at the Webster Groves Recreation Complex during day camps called Winter Webegee. Camps are for kids ages 5-12. Camp activities include ice skating, entertainers and lots more. Camp takes place December 26-29, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with extended care available.

Winter Break Camps at Upper Limits Climbing Gym

At Upper Limits, kids can enroll in 2-day Winter Break Camps for ages 7-15. Campers will learn new rock climbing skills, and take part in team-building activities, games, and general open climbing. Full and half-day camps are available at two locations in the St. Louis area: Chesterfield and Maryland Heights. Camp dates are December 26 & 27, December 28 & 29, and January 2 & 3. Winter Break Camp at The Heights

Winter Break Camp at The Heights Recreation Center in Richmond Heights is set for December 26 - 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is open to residents and non-residents of Richmond Heights. Register online at richmondheights.org

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.

Child development researchers at Washington University School of Medicine are inviting 4-7-year-old children and a caregiver to participate in a study investigating what children know about suicide along with risk factors for experiencing suicidality early in life. We are seeking children who have and who have not experienced suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Children who participate will 1) answer brief questions about their understanding of suicide (we want to learn what children at different ages know, we do not teach them anything new), 2) play games, and 3) complete a safe and non-invasive EEG.
