Gustafer Yellowgold Show at Off Broadway

Equal parts pop rock concert and animated storybook, Gustafer Yellowgold concerts are a truly different multimedia experience that entrances children and adults alike. Groovy Gustafer Yellowgold is a small, yellow, cone-headed fellow, who came to Earth from the Sun and has a knack for finding himself neck-deep in absurd situations as he explores his new life in the Minnesota woods.

The New York Times said “The show is a cross between ‘Yellow Submarine’ and Dr. Seuss.”

This lively show is presented by 88.1 KDHX Musical Merry-Go-Round. Saturday, May 12 at 3 p.m. at Off Broadway, 3509 Lemp Ave., St. Louis, MO  63118. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. More information and tickets:

The Boogers Family Matinee

The Boogers are coming to St. Louis for a very rockin’ family matinee concert at Off Broadway. The Boogers are the brainchild of musician and developmental psychologist Paul Crowe (aka Crusty Booger). Paul spent the late 80's and 90's playing, writing and touring the U.S. as a bassist with a
number of Chicago-based punk and post-punk bands.

During this time, Paul was lucky enough to share the stage with two of his rock n' roll idols: -- Dee Dee Ramone (& the Chinese Dragons), and Marky Ramone (& the Intruders). His musical talents are not constrained to one genre; Paul also played for five years with the Loyola University Jazz Band.

Somehow, across six albums and hundreds of shows, Paul completed a Ph.D in Developmental Psychology at Loyola University, found the love of his life and became the proud father of three sons.

What came next was a natural evolution -- he married his passion for classic punk to his knowledge of child and language development through music to create, play and record his hyped-up, irreverent music for his sons and friends' kids.
Children's music that brings the chord-driven rock -- and isn't lame!

Besides writing great original songs like This Song's About
and I Don't Need to be Worried, the Boogers pride themselves on providing a unique take on children's classic songs.

Catch The Boogers Family Matinee at Off Broadway, 3509 Lemp Avenue. Doors open at 2:30 and the show is at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 the day of the show. Children under 2 are free. Tickets and more information at
