Fall is one of the most delightful seasons in St. Louis – when the air gets crisp, the sweaters come out and the leaves turn into jewel box colors. It's also a great time to celebrate at a number of seasonal festivals throughout the area. Here are our picks for the best family-friendly fall festivals.

Kids Flea Market at The Magic House

The Magic House is looking for enterprising kids 16 years and younger to sell their handmade craft items, outgrown toys, books, baseball cards and games at the Museum's Annual Kids' Flea Market.

Not only is this a great opportunity for kids to make their own money, but they can also earn extra points with their parents by cleaning out their rooms! This event is great for bargain hunters as well and is open to the public for shopping. There will be all kinds of hidden treasures to discover.

The registration fee is $15 per table and kids keep the profits they make at the event. The Kids' Flea Market will take place rain or shine.

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information and to register for a table: magichouse.org

Registration is not required to attend or shop.

Fit Kid: Free Kid: Power Play

Kids 12 and under who complete a fitness challenge upon arrival can earn free admission to the event. Sponsored by St. Louis Children's Hospital. This month, join friends from the St. Louis Blues and the St. Louis Cyclones for an evening of Power Play.

4-7 p.m. Registration is required. More information and to pre-register: magichouse.org
