Celebrate the season with the Planetarium show Seasons Greetings. Viewers will discover the nature of our seasons and why the winter solstice has long been a time of celebration. This live star show lets you gaze up to the winter sky, but also look back at how the cultures are united in celebration during the winter season and how these celestial sights still influence our holidays today.
Seasons Greetings is playing at 12:45 p.m. Thursdays through Sundays at the McDonnell Planetarium. For more information, specific dates, tickets, and details about safety protocols, go to slsc.org
Visit the Animal Protective Association (APA) of Missouri for a free story time for preschoolers and help foster their love of animals. Kids will learn about caring for our four-legged friends as well as be entertained by fun stories and make a craft. They'll even meet a furry friend! Geared to ages 2-5.
At this free art program for ages 3-6 the focus is on the process of making art rather than the finished product. Dress to get messy!
Bring your babies and toddlers to this free story time at the Missouri History Museum.
