Bugs, Rhythm, and Blues is happening this January 27-28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is a unique, family-friendly celebration of St. Louis’ love for Mardi Gras, blues music, and the vibrant blue morpho butterflies.
Families are invited to the Saint Louis Art Museum on Sunday afternoon to participate in free hands-on art activities with fun themes and to explore the galleries. Each Family Sunday focuses on a different family-friendly theme.
The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown St. Louis is comprised of more than 120 units, including marching bands, floats, huge cartoon character balloons, more than 5,000 marchers and lots of clowns.
Buddy is back at The Magic House! Beginning January 27, families can once again make tracks to The Magic House to experience Dinosaur Train: The Traveling Exhibit. Based on the popular PBS Kids TV series, this limited-engagement exhibit, created by The Magic House in collaboration with the Jim Henson Company, takes kids on a time-traveling adventure back to the time of dinosaurs.

The Community Music School of Webster University offers a variety of summer music programs for all ages, including Kindermusik® Family Camp (6 months – 5 years); String Orchestra Camp (grades 2-12); Chamber Music Encounter (by audition); Flute Camp (grades 7-12); Band Camp (grades 7-12); Composition Intensive (grades 7-12); Pop Songwriting Camp (grades 9-12); and the NEW Saxophone Summer Intensive (grades 7-12). Kindermusik® Family Camp is offered in 2 locations – Webster Groves and Faust Park in Chesterfield. All other camps are at our main location at Webster University. CMS also offers a six-week summer session of individual lessons on all instruments of the band and orchestra, piano, guitar, and voice.

This 7,000 square-foot makerspace is designed for kids to play, explore create and collaborate. Visitors have a chance to "paint" on the digital easel, use a pottery wheel to create a clay creation, design for a 3D printer, launch air rockets, build robots and circuits and more!
