Middle Schoolers

Learn about the members of the Saint Louis Zoo's three-generation Asian elephant family, participate in interactive elephant-themed activities and talk with their caretakers during World Elephant Day at the Zoo.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy a free outdoor movie in Whitecliff Park in Crestwood. Popcorn will be provided while supplies last!

Kids can show their skills at this fun and challenging multi-sport event open to all. UPDATE 8/24: This event has been canceled due to weather.

There will be hands-on demonstrations in animal safety, internet safety, bicycle safety, and K-9 demonstrations. Kids can also explore police and fire safety equipment and vehicles, meet police officers, and have fun with balloons, a clown, magician, carnival games and face painting. 

This free outdoor arts festival offers a variety of art and educational opportunities for all ages, including the Children's Village, Art for Youth Gallery, Mentor Me exhibit for art teachers and students, and Showcase Programs from other community art programs.

Teens and tweens can play laser tag, enjoy virtual reality stations, crafts, raffle prizes and snacks from Chipotle Mexican Grill at a special party to say so long to the summer and get ready for the school year. 

Presented in collaboration with the Saint Louis Art Museum as part of the museum's Family Sundays program, Passport to Korea offers a chance to make traditional Korean arts and crafts, learn about the Korean alphabet, play games and more. Watch K-Pop dance performances from the Pyro Dance Team, and hear Korean stories in the storytelling corner. Free tours of the museum's Korean art collection also available.
