Riverfest 2026 features fireworks over the river, a carnival, live music, craft and food vendors, and lots of fun kids activities.

Year after year, Webster Groves Community Days continues to be one of the largest Independence Day community celebrations in the area, including one of the most popular 4th of July parades. 

The annual Kirkwood Community Freedom Festival and Fireworks celebrates Independence Day with musical entertainment, food trucks and fireworks.

Shop, eat and enjoy live music, hands-on art projects, lots of great food, and entertainment for kids at this casual and fun Maplewood festival that celebrates making and enjoying art.

Your child is old enough to start kindergarten, are they ready? Are you? At this special presentation, both you and your child will get a brief overview of what is expected before your child even enters the classroom. You'll also receive a free backpack and school supplies. Registration is required.

Come see the Nature Playscape in Forest Park filled with books, puppets, flannel boards & flannels, and young families at Read, Play, Grow! This unique "come and go as you please" outdoor event for kids ages 0-5 and their families is designed for parents and caregivers to enjoy the simple pleasure of reading with their children while connecting with nature.

Gather at the Gateway Arch and get ready for a riverboard adventure. There will be 30 minutes of storytime followed by a free, 30-minute cruise on the Mississippi River.
