Eagle Days at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge

Visitors are welcome to view eagles through spotting scopes staffed by trained volunteers. There will be a warming tent that will include children's art activities and a St. Louis Audubon display. Families can also take photos next to the full-size eagle's nest, and watch a live eagle educational program.

Eagle Sunday at the Audubon Center at Riverlands

See a live bald eagle up close presented by the World Bird Sanctuary during Eagle Sundays. Visitors can also see eagles, other raptors, trumpeter swams and other waterfowl in the wild at the Riverlands from inside the Audubon Center.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

Great Rivers Greenway has teamed up with the Saint Louis Zoo for the fifth annual free greenway scavenger hunt. Community members are invited to look for the many varieties of native bees that you can see buzzing around greenways and search for special hidden souvenirs you can take home! Starting August 1, BEE on the lookout for hand-painted bee rocks along all 140+ miles of greenways. Saint Louis Zoo ALIVE (Active Leaders in Volunteer Education) teen volunteers hand-painted hundreds of rocks like three different species of bees found along the greenways: American bumblebee, brown-belted bumblebee and two-spotted bumblebee, plus a few of the endangered rusty patched bumblebee.
