You can always watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on television, but if you want the real-life parade experience, bundle up the kids and head downtown bright and early on Thanksgiving morning to see the 41st annual Ameren Thanks for Giving Parade.
The parade kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, along Market Street, culminating at Kiener Plaza, where Winterfest will be in full swing.
With over 120 parade units, you’ll see musical floats, giant helium balloon figures, restored antique cars and fire trucks, and marching bands from across the St. Louis area. And be sure to stick around until the end, when Santa Claus arrives in St. Louis to wish everyone a happy holiday.
