Bring your painting into another dimension at Painting as Sculpture, a family workshop at Laumeiere Sculpture Park. Visit Laumeier's current exhibition with artist Vaughn Davis Jr. for inspiration and ideas. Then you'll transform a flat surface into sculpture using motif, shape and structure. Use color to distinguish the shapes and layers that you created together.
Family Workshop: Painting as Sculpture will be held Saturday, September 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Cost is $45. For ages 4-12 with a favorite grownup.
