The 11th annual Kids Block Party is a free family day out featuring activities that encourage a healthy, active and safe lifestyle for kids.
Designed primarily for kids ages 3-10, the event features lots of hands-on activities, including inflatables (an obstacle course, slide and giant pirate ship), arts & crafts, games, music and dancing, a chance to learn about and climb on their favorite big trucks and vehicles, Disney characters and more.
Parents can visit with health and safety-focused organizations from across the St. Louis area at informational booths.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19 at the St. Charles Convention Center. Free admission.

Read to a friendly therapy dog from DUO Dogs, Inc. After the story, the dog's handler will answer any questions kids have about therapy dogs, pet care and more. For ages 3-11. Registration is required for this free program.
LEGO Club at the St. Louis County Library is a free opportunity for kids to gather and have fun building with LEGO bricks. LEGOs are provided.
