Everyone likes a treat, and the animals at the Saint Louis Zoo are no exception! Visitors can watch these special "egg hunt" enrichment activities and learn about their favorite animals. during the Enrichment Extravaganza.

Keepers, curators and volunteers at the Zoo plan enrichment activities for the animals throughout the year as a way to make life more interesting for the animals. The animals are encouraged to forage for food, invent "toys" out of everyday items, explore with new exhibit "furniture" such as logs and vines, or even sniff new scents. Enrichment activities are fun for the animals, visitors, and the keepers.

The Enrichment Extravaganza also includes a digital scavenger hunt for kids. Young guests can participate in a virtual egg hunt of their own as they look for the egg-shaped signs around the Zoo and scan the QR code for fun information about animals, eggs, and enrichment.

The 2022 Enrichment Eggstravaganza will be held on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Saint Louis Zoo. Weather permitting. Free reservations are needed.

What if school were a place where curiosity leads the way, learning comes to life, and children discover just how much they're capable of? At The College School, students from Preschool through Eighth Grade learn by doing. They explore creeks and forests, tackle meaningful challenges, ask big questions, and build the confidence to think independently. With strong academics, hands-on experiences, and a close-knit community, learning extends far beyond the classroom.

We invite you to experience it for yourself at our All-School Open House on Saturday, November 14, from 9:00–10:30 a.m. Meet our teachers, explore our classrooms and learning spaces, and discover what makes The College School such a special place to grow.

Come see how an extraordinary education begins with the freedom to explore.
