Parents and families are invited to attend the Exploring the Spectrum Autism Information Fair at the St. Charles County Library - Spencer Road Library Branch sponsored by United Services for Children. The fair features guest speakers, breakout sessions, and information tables from autism service providers and healthcare organizations.
The guest speaker is Dr. Natasha Marrus, a Washington University child psychiatrist who specializes in autism diagnosis and treatment.
Therapists from United Services will present workshops and breakout sessions on topics designed to help families of children with autism.
The fair is free but reservations are requested because seating is limited. At the Spencer Road Branch of the St. Charles County Library in St. Peters.
Saturday, March 23, 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free and open to all.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
At Free Family Saturdays at Craft Alliance, families create together in each of the Craft Alliance studios, exploring clay, fiber, metals and graphic arts. These free workshops are led by professional artists and are for families with kids ages 5 and up. They are open to the public and all family structures are welcome. Please dress for a fun and sometimes messy art experience!
