Visit the Loop in University City for the annual Chalk the Loop Festival. Accomplished artists and novices of all ages will be creating their own chalk masterpieces on the sidewalks.
Children 12 and under can register for Chalk Land, a kid-friendly area where kids can discover their inner artist with sidewalk chalking drawings, face painting, arts & crafts, music and more.
Artists of all ages can also enter to participate in the chalk art contest. Entrance fees are $10 for adults 18 and up, $8 for ages 13-17 and $6 for ages 12 and under. Participants receive a premium box of chalk at registration so they can begin to chalk the loop!
The festival is free for onlookers, and all are welcome to check out the artists' work.
