Midnight is just too late for the littlest partiers to stay up! At this special celebration for preschoolers, there will be story time, snacks, a countdown to the hour (noon), and each child will make their own party kit.
They'll celebrate the new year early but it will be just as fun. Cost is $10 per child (parents are free). 10:30 to noon at Riverchase in Fenton.

The nationally acclaimed Laumeier Sculpture Park Art Fair is a three-day, outdoor event held annually on Mother's Day weekend. It features local, regional and national artists, local food and beverage vendors, live music, and the Creation Location offering hands-on, creative art experiences for kids.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
