Laugh, dance, discover, imagine, smile, play! Children up to age 5 and their grown-ups will be transported to a world of magic, color, music and surprises at the premiere performance of Out of the Box, a Theater for the Very Young play devised by Metro Theater Company and presented in partnership with St. Louis University.
Theater for the Very Young: Out of the Box will engage the very young through a sensory feast of sounds, sights, fun and surprises. Pre-kindergarten years present a crucial time for brain development and multi-sensory stimulation is important to that process. Metro Theater Company has developed Theater for the Very Young to address that need.
Out of the Box is a 30 minute performance with an additional 30 minutes of post-show activities and fun following the performance. The audience will be seated on the floor. Please arrive 15 minutes before the performance begins.
Performances at 9:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. at Metro Theater Company. Free, but please make reservations.
