The Imaginary Theatre Company presents two sensory friendly performances of The Country Mouse and the City Mouse for kids with sensory needs. The cast of four actors are experienced with sensory sensitivity. There will be pacing lanes and a fidget room available during the performance, and visitors will have the option of meeting our costumed actors after the performance, as well as touching their costumes.
The story is about a city mouse that takes a trip to visit his country cousin but finds her rustic ways less than appealing. Promising a new lifestyle, he invites her on a trip to his home in the city, but she finds much more than she bargained for in this unfamiliar place. This fun musical journey celebrates the differences in others and all the possibilities the world can bring.
Show times are 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on April 7 at the Repertory Theatre of St. Louis' Emerson Studio Theatre in Webster Groves. Tickets are $8 per person.
