Everyone will receive free admission to The Butterfly House on Wednesday, September 18 in honor of the Evelyn E. Newman Founder's Day Celebration.
The celebration is named in honor of the founder of The Butterfly House, which opened its doors on September 18, 1998.
In 2001, the Butterfly House became a division of the Missouri Botanical Garden with a commitment to foster a greater understanding of plant and animal relationships to promote the conservation and restoration of natural habitats.

More than a dozen ice carvers will fill two blocks of North Main Street in St. Charles and create works of ice art at this outdoor ice-carving festival.
The Loop Ice Carnival is a festival full of frosty fun for all ages. Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.
