You and your little ones can enjoy fun family movies outdoors at The Magic House this summer. The new movie series will be held on select nights throughout the summer.

July 9: The Wizard of Oz Enjoy hands-on activities inspired by the movie and snacks too!
Visitors to The Magic House can participate in hands-on arts and crafts projects, simple cooking demonstrations and chopstick games and contest during Chinese Culture Day.
Supported by the St. Louis Modern Chinese School. Activities are free with Magic House admission.

Bring your family to The Magic House for Fitness Fun Fridays where kids can stretch their muscles and their minds. Visitors wear pedometers and find out just how much they move while playing throughout the museum. Each month features a different theme and fitness experience.
Take a front seat for a spectacular performance from the Washington University's Lunar New Year's Festival.
From a magical diabolo performance, a fantastic feat of Chinese yoyo, to a powerful martial arts performance, visitors will enjoy traditional dances still popular in China today.

Parents are invited to this free presentation and discussion on backpack safety and general health. Dr. Krystal Rupp, a chiropractic physician, will discuss appropriate weight and placement of backpacks, how to adjust straps correctly, stretching techniques for children, and offer nutrition suggestions.

The Magic House is hosting a special Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash!
Visitors to The Magic House will enjoy special story times featuring their favorite Dr. Seuss books, make their own Dr. Seuss hat and other crafts and shake paws with the Cat in the Hat himself.
Children 11 and under who bring in a new Dr. Seuss book ($5 minimum value) to be donated to a child in need will receive free museum admission during the Dr. Seuss weekend event.
There are more than strawberries (but plenty of those too) at this festival! Kids can enjoy carnival rides, a petting farm, wagon rides, the children's playground and lots more.
Kids can work on existing gym skills, learn new skills or just play around during Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym. Reservations are not necessary.
Don't be late for this very important date! the Fancy Tea Party at the Butterfly House will have you feeling fancy and acting silly while celebrating mommies, grammies and aunties. Bring your kiddos to enjoy tasty treats, delightful drinks, fun crafts and more.
See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
At Free Family Saturdays at Craft Alliance, families create together in each of the Craft Alliance studios, exploring clay, fiber, metals and graphic arts. These free workshops are led by professional artists and are for families with kids ages 5 and up. They are open to the public and all family structures are welcome. Please dress for a fun and sometimes messy art experience!
