Winter Break and School's Out Camps

Kids can spend their Winter Break at the Saint Louis Zoo observing and learning about animals and the different shapes and sizes animal homes and habitats come in. From a hive to a nest, from a burrow to a den, all of these are places animals create and construct to call "home." Where the Wild Things Live Winter Break Camp will be held December 26-29 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before- and after-care is available. Camps are for kids in grades 1-5.

Learn about making mosaic masterpieces using colorful tiles and recycled objects, create your own books and magazines, or work on a self-portrait during winter camps at the St. Louis Artists' Guild! Winter camps include:

At Making Mosiacs, for ages 6-9, artist and instructor Celeste Grayer will guide students through the process of drawing, designing, planning, and creating unique and wonderful pieces of art.

Is your child ready to learn new gymnastics skills, explore ninja courses on awesome equipment, run obstacle courses with creative themes, play games, build forts and lots more over winter break and during school holidays? Then Olympia Gymnastics is the place to be! Olympia Gymnastics offers innovative School Holiday Camps and Winter Camps led by highly trained, background-checked and safety-certified instructors, many of them former gymnasts who have grown up in the Olympia system. Programs are available for kids from the time they can walk until they are teens! Olympia Gymnastics has been serving the St. Louis metro area since 1979. Building happy, healthy, confident children is the foundation of Olympia's philosophy. 

During Maryville University's Winter Break STEM Program, kids ages 4-12 can enjoy STEM fun! They'll complete different kinds of LEGO builds, STEM winter projects, games and more. Morning and afternoon sessions are available December 27-29 at the STEM Studio in Chesterfield. Morning sessions are held from 9 a.m. to noon. Afternoon sessions are 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Cost is $30 per session. Students who sign up for both a morning and afternoon session will receive a $20 credit toward any future STEM Studio class! 

Miss Kelly's offers non-competitive, theme-based Winter camps that provide children an opportunity for fitness, fun and total development – not to mention a fantastic way to beat the chilly weather! All camps are gymnastics-based and feature a new, exciting theme each day! Themes include Winter Wonderland, Holiday Goofy Games, Pajama Jam, Winter Camping, Dinosaur Ice Age, New Year's Beach Bash, and Pirate & Mermaid Adventure. 

Sign up for Winter Break Camp at COCA and spend a week doing unique and fun arts learning experiences. You'll find favorites from COCA's popular Summer Arts Camps all taught by COCA's faculty of amazing and experienced teaching artists. Winter Break Camps are available for ages 4-10. Register for all days or whatever days work for your family. Camp themes include Circus COCA, Magic Trunk, Magnificent Magical Monsters, and Perfect Cookie Camp. Your child can spend their winter break having fun at The Lodge Des Peres at Holiday Hoopla Camp. Join camp counselors for four days of classic camp games, holiday crafts and winter magic. Make it a full-day camp by adding Winter Aqua Camp and Lunch Bunch.
