Babies and Toddlers

During sensory friendly playtime at Play Street Museum, admission is limited to 12 children, and music is turned off to provide a calmer play environment for those with sensory needs. Registration is required. 

The Honest to Goodness Truth is a story by award-winning black author and St. Louisan Patricia McKissack. The adaptation is by Gregory Carr, a professor at Harris Stowe. This home-grown tale features a smart, confident young woman named Libby who learns a valuable lesson about telling the truth with compassion. 

Gather around the campfire and discover the many changes we see when day changes to night throughout the year. At this story time for all ages, you'll hear the seasonal sounds of nature and see stars twinkle across the sky as the wonders of the Earth's cycle are revealed. 

Celebrate International Polar Bear Day at the Saint Louis Zoo with special activities for all ages. Be sure to visit the Zoo's own Kali, the 6-year-old polar bear and watch as he interacts with interesting enrichment activities.

Slimers of all ages are invited to The Magic House for a day of hands-on slime experiences at the The Magic House STEAM Center (Kirkwood) or at The Magic House, MADE for Kids (5127 Delmar Blvd, St. Louis, 63108). Kids will learn creative slime recipes and create the fluffiest, gooiest or stringiest slime masterpiece to take home for continued slime fun!

Families are invited to enjoy the brand new Goldfish Swim School, a learn-to-swim facility offering swim lessons for kids ages 4 months through 12 years old. All are invited to participate in Open Family Swim (RSVP required), crafts, a balloon artist, face painting, games and lots more at this free Open House.

Your little sweeties can enjoy a sweet afternoon of crafting, card making and play time at A Sweet Crafternoon at Play Street Museum. They'll also have a sweet cookie and take home hand-made Valentine's Day cards.
