Elementary Age

Learn about amphibians at this in-person event in Babler State Park and meet some of the amphibians who live there. This free outdoor event will observe social distancing guidelines. Meet at the front of the Visitor Center for this 10 a.m. program. 

Join Missouri State Parks for a turtle-ly awesome adventure with their box turtles, Blue and Tiny. This outdoor event is free, and social distancing guidelines will apply.

Join in on the superhero fun! At this outdoor event, kids ages 4 and up will participate in superhero-themed arts and crafts. Each child will have the opportunity to create their own superhero mask and cape to take home. Dress up as your favorite superhero for all to see

Surprise dad with a Super Dad Card created just for him! Kids are invited to register for the free Father's Day Card Workshop from Imagine Arts Academy that will guide them through making their own unique Father's Day Super Dad card. 

This outdoor story time features the book Goldfish on Vacation by Sally Lloyd-Jones and the whole family is welcome! The group will be practicing social distancing, so please bring a mask and maintain 6 to 12 feet between you and other families. 

Speed, power and performance . . . buckle up and race with the most famous toy vehicles on the planet – Hot Wheels! This new exhibit at The Magic House allows kids to be part of a dynamic racing team working together to build and test the world's fastest and safest speed machines, using Hot Wheels diecast cars to experiment and play.
