Celebrate the birthday of Henry Shaw, founder of the Missouri Botanical Garden. Visitors can have their silhouette portrait drawn by an artist, watch jugglers perform, see marionette shows, watch a balloon artist, witness the agility of a stilt walker and sign an oversized birthday card. There will be free admission to the Garden and the Children's Garden, and discounts for Garden memberships. 

At this family workshop, a COCA Chef-Instructor will reveal a secret ingredient for the day. Then, using items from the COCA pantry, your family imagines and creates a delicious dish. The day ends in a friendly competition to declare which family is full of top chefs! 

For 50 years, the Saint Louis Zoo has offered a special area just for its youngest visitors to connect with nature. On Saturday, May 18, you can visit the Saint Louis Zoo to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Children's Zoo. Families can enjoy admission of just 50 cents per person for ages 2 and up. Children under the age of 2 are free. 

Join the Missouri History Museum for a screening of the classic movie musical where you can sing along with Dorothy and friends as they make their way down the yellow brick road. Everyone who comes in costume will be entered to win a prize. 

Treat your kids to a free concert that will introduce them to different musical styles in beautiful Tower Grove Park.

From noon to 4 p.m. in the Museum at the Gateway Arch, visitors can earn a unique "Night Skies" patch with a National Park Service Ranger, take a selfie in the star-studded photo booth, and explore the constellations with the flight crew from the Challenger Learning Center! Nature Cat will also be at the park to celebrate National Kids to Parks Day.
