Celebrate the start of summer with a Drive Through Parade in Vlasis Park in Ballwin. Instead of the parade driving past you, you drive past the parade! Drive your family through Vlasis Park and you'll see some big trucks, hear some sirens, wave to local businesses and more. 

Visit the World Bird Sanctuary for a fun drive-through safari experience from the safety of your car. Come see eagles, owls, hawks, falcons, and reptiles all from the luxury of your own vehicle. World Bird Sanctuary's dinner and drive through lets you experiene the birds without dealing with the summer heat.

Kids can enjoy a high-energy evening full of LEGO entertainment from Bricks 4 Kidz. Snacks, games and loads of LEGO Bricks are provided. For ages 5 to 13. 

Kids ages 8-10 can join the quest to make the perfect cookie! They'll explore at least two cookie styles, such as bar, drop, or shaped; and a range of ingredients, such as cocoa, chocolate chips, oatmeal, lemon or peppermint. Along with way, participants will learn the basics of baking and a dash of personal preference and creativity. 

This performance of Aladdin is based on the classic "Tales of Arabian Nights" and performed by the Hampstead Stage Company. For ages 5 and up. Free. Registration is not required.

YouTube and Snapchat, two of the most popular apps among middle and high school students, pose understandable concerns for parents. From graphic content to stranger danger, from the Momo hoax to the Tide Pod challenge, and countless stories linking social media use to depression, both apps can seem like minefields of potential danger. This free presentation will answer those questions, and help parents better communicate with their teens about social media.
