Circus Flora: The Case of the Missing Bellhop

Circus Flora, St. Louis' original one-ring circus, has moved to its permanent home in Grand Center for its 2018 run of shows, and opens earlier this year, on Thursday, April 19. In Circus Flora: The Case of the Missing Bellhop, the world-famous Balding Hotel has long been an exclusive getaway for dignitaries and nobility from around the world; a place where the staff and crew have unusual skills and where people can go about their business without many questions asked – making the hotel famous for luxury and impeccable service. But when a beloved bellhop goes missing, the Balding begins to attract attention. Secrets proliferate and questions abound. What happened to the bellhop, and who knew about it? Join Circus Flora to find out in this one-of-a-kind madcap adventure.

An annual St. Louis family favorite for more than 30 years, Circus Flora features world-class talent in an intimate setting perfect for all ages.

Specially priced previews (tickets start at $10) will be held April 19-21. Regular shows, with tickets starting at $12, continue through May 13, and are held Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7 p.m., matinee shows on Saturdays and Sundays at 1 p.m. and Super Saver Shows on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.

Little Top Friday shows are at 10 a.m. (April 27, May 4 and May 11) and feature a shorter performance perfect for little ones.

Wednesday, May 2 at 7 p.m. is a sensory friendly performance. This special one-hour performance is tailored for individuals on the autism spectrum, those with visual impairments or other sensory needs. Minor changes will be made to the lighting and sound to create a comfortable, enjoyable environment.

Special shows include the Peanut-Free Preview on April 19 at 7 p.m., which allows those with peanut allergies the opportunity to enjoy the magic of Circus Flora in a safe environment. (To maintain a peanut-free envirnoment, no outside food or beverages allowed.)

Circus Flora Peanut-Free Preview

Kids with nut allergies can enjoy the circus! Circus Flora's preview night is entirely peanut-free. Circus Flora: Time Flies explores the possibilities of turning back time to change your life.  

Also appearing are favorites The Flying Wallendas, graceful acrobats, a dancing horse, and a daring equestrian bareback rider. 

Tickets are $20 to $45. The Peanut-Free Preview is at 7 p.m. Circus Flora is held under the air-conditioned red and white big top tent at the corner of Grand Blvd. and Samuel Shepard Drive in St. Louis, behind Powell Hall.

Circus Harmony’s 2012 full-length show is an acrobatic adventure featuring over 30 flying children accompanied by the sensational Circus Harmony Band! Don’t miss this annual, creative confluence of music and circus arts presented by St. Louis’ only social circus school.

This show features the St. Louis Arches, the amazing acrobatic act seen each year at Circus Flora, with all new acts and the circus stars of tomorrow.

Grant’s Farm 2011 Halloween Celebration

Enjoy a Halloween Creature Show, nightly performances by the St. Louis Arches, a D.J. and Dark Deer Park Rides. Minors must be accompanied by adults.
