COCA's first summer musical for families is the beloved Billy Elliot! Billy Elliot brings together some of the best talent in St. Louis, with COCA's lead performers, local apprentice actors, and regional professional performers.
Set in a village in northeast England during the miner's strike of 1984/85, Billy Elliot tells the story of a young boy who transcends class and circumstances to become a ballet star. The show follows Billy's journey from boxing right to ballet class where he discovers a passion for dance that unites his family, inspires his community and changes his life. Based on the acclaimed film, Billy Elliot is a heartwarming and triumphant tale.
Performances are July 30 - August 1. Billy Elliot is recommended for ages 11 and up.
