Celebrate Laumeier’s Earth Day Week by visiting the Park with a family member and getting creative! Spend time with a family member learning how to build a bee hotel that can be filled with hollow tubes, nesting blocks and natural materials that will keep solitary bees warm during the winter months. Learn how to care for your bee hotel and the reasons why it is important to care for our pollinators.
Family Workshop: Bee Hotels will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Cost is $45 for one adult and one child (ages 4-12).
