Pet-acular Holiday Bazaar at Purina Farms

The Pet-acular Holiday Bazaar is a family-friendly event especially for dogs and kids! This St. Louis-favorite returns to the state-of-the-art Purina Event Center the weekend of Dec. 14-15 and offers fun for all ages, including a Kids Activity Area and photos with Santa. Admission and parking are free, and no reservations are necessary.

Eagle Days at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge

Visitors are welcome to view eagles through spotting scopes staffed by trained volunteers. There will be a warming tent that will include children's art activities and a St. Louis Audubon display. Families can also take photos next to the full-size eagle's nest, and watch a live eagle educational program.

Mardi Gras Family Winter Carnival at Soulard Market Park

Enjoy an afternoon of family-friendly Mardi Gras fun. Activities include a bounce house, arts and crafts, fire trucks and police vehicles, story times, interactive displays by local artists, a dress-up Mardi Gras-style area, and face painting, mask and crown making and more. This is an alcohol-free event.

Curious George Breakfast at The Magic House

Go bananas because Curious George is coming to the Magic House! Families are invited to swing into the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast (bananas included) with visits from Curious George himself. Children will also enjoy private playtime in the museum, create a hat to take home inspired by The Man in the Yellow Hat, and get to explore the Magic House's newest exhibit, Curious George: Let's Get Curious! Fit Kid: Free Kid: The Nutcracker with The Dance Center of Kirkwood

On the first Friday of each month, kids are invited to spend some free time getting fit and having fun at Fit Kid: Free Kid at The Magic House. Kids 12 and under who complete a fitness challenge and register in advance will earn free admission! They'll also get to try new fitness activities because each Fit Kid: Free Kid features a different theme.

Santa in Pajamas at Play Street Museum

Kids can wear their pajamas for this very special visit with Santa at Play Street Museum! Santa will be in his pajamas too! Santa will read The Night Before Christmas, and there will be treats for everyone. There will be lots of opportunities for photos with Santa, and kids will also enjoy crafts and playtime in the museum. Each child will receive a special Melissa & Doug sticker book from Santa at the end of the event.
