On October 16 and 17, Give Kids A Smile will provide children ages 5 to 14 free comprehensive dental services. The Tiny Smiles Clinic for ages 12 months to 4 years will be avaliable as well.
Children ages 5 to 14 are seen on the main Give Kids A Smile clinic floor and may receive a variety of services, including an oral examination, an x-ray or a fluoride treatment. Fillings, root canals, crowns, extractions, and oral surgery are also completed if necessary.
The Tiny Smiles Clinic helps children ages 12 months to 4 years develop good dental hygiene habits early on so they can grow up with healthy smiles. They do not go to the main clinic floor, but their teeth are examined to identify any concerns and see if any additional care is needed.
The Give Kids A Smile program is avaliable for children between 12 months to 14 years (not older than eighth grade) who have Medicaid or qualify for the free/reduced school lunch program.
