Kids can make their own snow, enjoy Frosty's Funland in the gymnasium, create their own Grandma Moses-inspired snow scenes, decorate holiday cookies, design a scratch art snowman and lots more.
Stop by the Performaing Arts Center at 9:45 a.m. for a magical science showcase by Mad Science! Travel through a snowy world of science and learn about air pressure, the power of chemicals, physical and chemical changes, the color spectrum, and the properties of dry ice. Watch the Mad Scientist use some chemistry to melt a snowman. Find our how air pressure can help out a super special egg, and experience the shivering cold fog of dry ice.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
