The Saint Louis Science Center has expanded its Preschool Science Series to include new offerings for different age groups. Storybook STEM is for ages 3 to 5. Each session uses a thought-provoking storybook to engage children in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) challenges.

Little engineers will learn science and math concepts as they design and create solutions to problems connected to the story or their everyday lives.

Storybook STEM is held on Sundays at noon and Mondays at 10 a.m. Cost for individual classes is $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Monthly bundles (3 classes) are $24 for members and $30 for non-members.

Upcoming sessions of Storybook STEM include:

February 2 & 3: Flying High

February 9 & 10: Cool Cars

February 16 & 17: Coaster Capers
