At this Kenyan Independence Day Celebration, children from F4KIDZ African Performing Arts will sing the Kenya National Anthem and then entertain visitors with lively performances of African dance, drums and singing. Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour the Kenya's Kids exhibit where they can learn more about African culture and participate in traditional activities including making beaded bracelets.

More than a dozen ice carvers will fill two blocks of North Main Street in St. Charles and create works of ice art at this outdoor ice-carving festival.
The Loop Ice Carnival is a festival full of frosty fun for all ages.
