Learn about making mosaic masterpieces using colorful tiles and recycled objects, create your own books and magazines, or work on a self-portrait during winter camps at the St. Louis Artists' Guild! Winter camps include:
At Making Mosiacs, for ages 6-9, artist and instructor Celeste Grayer will guide students through the process of drawing, designing, planning, and creating unique and wonderful pieces of art.
At Character Design and Zines for the Young Illustrator, for ages 10-13, students will create their own stories, poetry, or concepts to combine with digital media illustrations for their very own 'zines.
At Self-Portrait Intensive, for ages 14+, students will consider themselves as their artistic subject. Students will start the class with either drawing themselves from life or a photograph, and then integrate acrylic painting into their personalized artworks.
Winter Camp will be held December 27 - 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day for Making Mosaics and Character Designs and Zines for the Young Illustrator, and 3 to 5:30 p.m. for the Self Portrait Intensive. Camps are held at the St. Louis Artists' Guild in Clayton.
